To become a Doctor of Chiropractic one has to complete a minimum 6 year course of study. Many states are now requiring doctors to complete their bachelor’s degree prior to granting state licensure. The Doctor of Chiropractic has an extremely intense curriculum, which is similar to that of a typical medical student.

The upper cervical misalignment is the most complex and difficult region on the spine to align, but when correction is achieved, the results are simply amazing. You will notice changes throughout your body as normal alignment and posture are restored. It takes a tremendous amount of training to deliver a quality NUCCA correction—we have dedicated ourselves to mastering this procedure to deliver a precise ATLAS correction.

Meet Dr. Chavez

This passion comes from a personal place

I’m Dr. Chavez, the father of four children with my wife of more than two decades, Therese. We wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for chiropractic care…

Therese had a myriad of health problems that left everyone puzzled, not too mention that she was in chronic pain… her neck, shoulders, back, feet, hands…

And what seems unrelated to most people (and doctors for that matter) was the fact that she couldn’t carry a child to term. We were only able to conceive a few times, and each pregnancy failed.

Complex health issues & infertility

Six years into our marriage, when at the Palmer clinics, we discovered the source of the problem: a spinal fracture and misalignments from her late teenage years. Little did she know that repetitive injury to her tailbone not only set her up to live in constant pain, but it compromised the way her entire body worked… digestion, circulation, and her monthly cycles. Thankfully, her chiropractor addressed the long undiagnosed problem of her spine and corrected it utilizing very specific, and gentle chiropractic adjustments.

Remarkable change

Within two months we conceived! Maria, our firstborn, is our chiropractic miracle.

After Maria's birth, consistent chiropractic through NUCCA & QSM3 have restored Therese's body and gave her a life with no pain. The best part of this story is the addition of three more children in our family.

This personal story is why I am so passionate about providing quality chiropractic care. Though that was only the beginning...I now get to witness amazing recoveries all the time in my office, and it is the most gratifying experience of my life.

QSM3- “QS” level
ICPA- 180 hour Certificate

Dr. Chavez received his degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa with a Chiropractic Doctorate, Magna Cum Laude. He also received the prestigious Vogt Leadership Society Award, given to an exceptional leader within his class, in addition to receiving the honor of being a Presidential Scholar, on the Deans list consecutively each trimester, and the Pi Tao Delta Society, chiropractic’s most distinguished honor society.

His undergraduate education was focused in Sports Medicine with a Bachelors Degree in Health and Exercise Science, Cum Laude at Colorado State University.
